[Exhibition] Sex in Cars and Love Motels - Perth Centre for Photography, Feb 8 - 24
Sex in Cars and Love Motels is a journey about Life, Love, Pain and Death mixed with the Bi-Cultural nature and struggles that come from having two nationalities.
Sex in Cars and Love Motels originated as an idea about Greek culture and how young adults stay at home until they are married. To have sex in the mean time, they do it in cars or ‘love’ motels …
Sex in Cars and Love Motels as a metaphor of Life, Love, Pain and Death range theoretically throughout histories and discourses and through visual culture and from the photographers own experiences.
Sex in Cars and Love Motels investigates the body in pain, gender, mental health, what is beautiful, ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE…..
Opening night: 6.30pm, THURSDAY 8 FEBRUARY
